Update - Nov 1:
Community prayer service
Friday, Nov 2nd - 12:00 (Noon) - Nave

We will be holding a community prayer service to take a moment to pause and reflect on the storm that has brought destruction to our community and nation. It will be a time of prayer, lamentation, and praise of the God who is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in our times of trouble.

Through the reading of scripture, music and words of reflection, we will listen for God's will and Word for us as, together and individually, we consider our response to this storm.

We are inviting all of the community to attend. Please reach out to your friends and neighbors to extend the invitation to them as well.

Following the service, we are going to have a community lunch of soup and bread in the Assembly Hall. We hope this will be a time to gather, share a meal, share stories of the storm, and experience fellowship with one another.

Update - Oct 31:
The building will be reopening on Thursday, Nov. 1. Please contact particular program leadership to confirm the schedule of events and activities.

October 29, 2012
As a result of Hurricane Sandy, The Riverside Church building is closed. We will post more information as we have it. We hope you can find effective shelter from the storm and that you and yours may remain safe through this time. Please join us in praying for those in our community and region who are most affected by the storm, especially those who are the most vulnerable to its devastating effects.
