Cultural Animator Series
This year’s program once again showcases work by an artist who consciously uses his art to arouse, inform and promote change. The play Through the Night features Obie award-winner Daniel Beaty bringing six characters to life in a one-man performance that explores what it means to be black and male in America.

Post-performance dialogues with distinguished guests will follow each of the 12 performances. Guest speakers include Bill Cosby, Malik Yoba, Sonia Sanchez, Rev. Dr. James Forbes, Ruby Dee, Alfonso Wyatt and Hill Harper, among others.
